Warabimochiko is a fine starch — here derived from sweet potato — used to make warabimochi, the soft, translucent, yielding confection traditionally dusted with kinako. Dissolve in water, cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it clears and pulls from the pan, then chill and cut before serving with kuromitsu.
